Post Summary: The Mandagies Wedding Story and Pictures
Whenever we look back at these photos, we are reminded of how much freaking fun we had. Both of us had a fantastic wedding party full of our closest friends and we had an incredibly supportive community surrounding us.
There was so much laughter during the day and it was honestly the best dance party we’ve ever experienced. Special thanks to Char and Julia Beck for capturing our personalities and spirit through the whole day. You made our wedding so much fun!
Thank you also to everyone who took care of everything behind the scenes and made the day flawless in our eyes. You are worth more to us than you know!
If you want to know a little bit more about Berty and I, you can find out more of our story on our About Page and read our Machu Picchu proposal story here.

The Ceremony
We decided to include some Indonesian traditions in our ceremony.
Together, we served a rice dish called nasi tumpeng and fed a piece to my parents and Berty’s aunt and uncle. They gave us a blessing, and Berty’s mom wrote a very touching letter from Indonesia.
Berty’s immediate family, unfortunately, wasn’t able to come to the wedding because they weren’t able to obtain visas. However, his aunt and uncle attended, and we invited Berty’s Indonesian friends to join us in celebrating.
We also had a second celebration in Indonesia so that we could celebrate with Berty’s family and friends in Jakarta! The ceremony was filled with joy and love, and it couldn’t have gone any better! We’ll remember it forever.
