Photo Journal: La Push

Earlier this past January, Berty and I took a trip to the coast with our new friends Esther and Jacob from The Local Adventurer. (You can find the first part of our trip to Cape Flattery here) After hours of driving, our final destination for this day was La Push’s iconic Second Beach.

If you don’t know much about La Push, it’s a small town on the coast of Washington that belongs to the Quileute Tribe. La Push has three public beaches: First, Second, and Third Beach. (This trip was to Second Beach, its most iconic!) We arrived at the beach shortly before sunset, and the sky lit up with cotton candy colors. We hope you enjoy this photo journal!

This trip was a chilly one. While we were on the coast with milder temperatures, the weather was still pretty unforgiving and left us thankful for our warm coats, hats, and layers! One of our favorite brands, Krochet Kids (also PNW natives!) provides gear we return to time and time again.

Have you ever been to any La Push beaches? What is your favorite memory from there?
